Laura Tempest Zakroff is an artist, author, designer, and performer, based in New England.
Laura received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design. In her youth, she trained with honors at Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia and was the first recipient of the Francis & Shirley Hipp award for excellence in the visual arts from the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts. Her artwork has received awards and recognition worldwide, and has been published in numerous books and magazines.

Laura works mainly in mixed media, combining printmaking techniques with painting and drawing, often using reclaimed wood and layered papers.  Her work explores the realm of myth and other liminal spaces. As a world-renown dancer and instructor, her performances reflect layers of myth merging through movement and intentioned costuming/design. 

Laura is the author of several bestselling Llewellyn books including Weave the Liminal, Sigil Witchery, Visual Alchemy, and Anatomy of a Witch, as well as the artist and author of the Anatomy of a Witch Oracle and The Liminal Spirit Oracle.  Laura edited The New Aradia: A Witch’s Handbook to Magical Resistance and the Gorgon's Guide to Magical Resistance from Revelore Press. Laura is the creative force behind several community events and teaches workshops online and worldwide.
